As the owner and certified administrator of OC Villas, my passion for caring for the elderly started long ago. During most of my childhood, I was raised by my grandparents. I was deemed the ‘family caretaker’. I helped my mother with care and assistance for my grandfather. I took him to his doctor visits, managed medication, helped him with showering and personal care needs. These experiences in my life led me to believe I found my true calling by providing quality care for loved ones.
After managing a home healthcare company for over 8 years and as an expertise in hiring and development of caregivers, I understood the growing need for seniors to have more affordable care in a comfortable, home-like setting. Throughout the years, I have seen seniors getting lost in the numbers of larger facilities.
I had visited many care homes facilities during my career and felt our seniors deserved a better family and home-like environment. I knew I could make a difference. It wasn’t just a job, but my calling and passion to provide the highest quality care for seniors. In 2012 I became a certified administrator by the State of California to manage and operate an RCFE.
OC Villas offers our seniors a loving, safe, clean, and respectful homes. Our staff fosters wellness, independence, dignity, and quality of life for each resident. My goal is to keep growing and adding more homes to OC Villas because I know that our seniors definitely get what they deserve at our homes.
